The U.S. military carried out an airstrike against an Iranian-backed militia stronghold in Syria Thursday, a senior U.S. official told Fox News.

Multiple facilities were struck in the air attack, which was sanctioned by President Biden.

The senior official said the strike was a defensive strategy, intended to halt and deter future rocket attacks by the militia group that recently hit Baghdad and Erbil.

Before you condemn the Syria strikes remember that Chairman Jao Bae Din made history with the First African American Secretary of Defense.

Agreed, but this does bring one potentially explosive situation to the forefront. What happens when the corrupt general’s aspirations clash with the corrupt politicians graft...(yes john effin...nous te connaissons)? Who wins? The Deep State will fracture between the “eisenhowerists” (as I call them) and the East Coast Grifting & Grafting Co. Kind of like Al Capone vs. Lucky Luciano. Only question is will there be gunfights...or artillery barrages?

Donā€™t worry about that. Any troops Biden sends to Syria will just be there to ā€œstabilize the regionā€ (or some other made-up reason).

As others have noted, Bidenā€™s real goal is to remove Assad. The Russians wonā€™t like that one bit. And the Russians have a point. Syria is a sovereign nation.

Beyond that, ANYONE who replaces Assad will be much worse than him.

Just got this email update from Behold Israel (Amir Tsarfati):

If you are following me on Telegram, you have also heard me touch on three different rocket attacks that occurred in Iraq since last week. Well, Iran is responsible for those, too. Not only does Iran have the big-name proxies, such as Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, etc. ā€“ they also have numerous militia groups they sponsor throughout the Middle East. These terrorist organizations are responsible for the three attacks, which led to the killing of a civilian contractor. And what do all three of these bases that were targeted have in common? They host US military interests. One wonders if the new US administration will take the hint.

What does that mean, take the hint and engage? Or take the hint and leave?

A amusing question to Joe Biden in just a few days would be, “as these types of military strikes are a function of executive level decisions what was your analysis of the need for this, was it successful, will this be the new norm for your presidency?

The reason I say a few days to ask the question is he has organic brain syndrome or Alzheimers. Three days ago for them is forever. Oddly they remember fairly well events 50 years ago. Three days ago not to well is their memory.

Odd is it not that democrats in the House want to limit the President of the United States ability to launch a nuclear strike against an enemy. This was their request yesterday. That is the sole right of the President of the United States. They know Joe is mentally “F up” and fear this. Those same Dems hated Trump pathologically. They never tried to impose this restraint on Trump. They knew Trump was sane. They also know Joe is very mentally compromised.

Oddly I agree with them on this.
