I have seen articles and interviews over the years of people who had irreversible surgery and profoundly regret it. My guess is that material is now hard to find. The suicide rate of transgenders is so high that, at least last I heard, John’s Hopkins refused to perform the surgery. That’s probably changed. Having had surgery on several body parts, even though they were successful, for the most part, they aren’t the same as before. Feet and hands are not nearly as delicate in their functions and sensations as sex organs. Also, I suspect we don’t understand the long term effects of radically altering our hormones.
