I don’t think most fiction writers could come up with this scenario.

Disgusting?

You ought to sit in the horn section between songs when everyone gets ready for the next passage.

“Now, where is the bio-waste deposit plumbing for the brass players and their ‘water key’, or spit valves?”

Well, see, the copper in the brass kills the viruses. Yeah, that’s the ticket!

Brass section slip & fall is more of a health risk, I think.

As if being in the school band wasn’t nerdy enough

Tought me how to march and follow orders and become an honor graduate at basic training.

Taught me teamwork and discipline that got me to high management in a major aerospace company.

Oh yeah, how many "non-nerdy" groups like football and basketball teams surround you with women at a two to one ratio?

What do you call a nerd 20 years after high school?...Boss.

Toally asinine. I suppose marching bands will require masks and six foot distancing between players

Ridiculous!

The “mask” is protecting their cheeks, not their airways. Completely pointless.

Does anyone have brains anymore?

My oldest’s band camp last summer had a solution - 10 feet apart while playing. Therefore, no masks and no tents.

The Army Usedto issue something similar as a way to protect troops from mustard gas sprayed from aircraft during WW2.
