Incredible! How many immigrants took that oath and fought and died overseas to defend the country, Constitution and the American way of life?
I went to a naturalization ceremony years ago and remember thinking that it should have been held during a high school assembly so that our young people would know just how much US citizenship was valued by those in foreign lands. They even promised to fight for this country if called upon.
Now they will all pledge allegiance to the welfare system. 😆
