Biden’s 100-day deportation moratorium indefinitely banned by judge

The Biden administration’s efforts to impose a 100-day pause on deportations of illegal immigrants were dealt another blow on Tuesday when a district judge extended a ban on its imposition in response to a lawsuit from Texas.

U.S. District Judge Drew Tipton indefinitely banned enforcement of the Jan. 20 memorandum that would have implemented a 100-day moratorium on most deportations.

Tipton had previously issued a two-week restraining order on the policy after Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton had argued that it violated federal law and an agreement with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that Texas be consulted before such a move.

Biden had campaigned on the 100-day pause as part of a sweeping immigration agenda that includes a halt on border wall construction, an end to the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP) and a pathway to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants.

The broad "pause" would have had exceptions. It would exclude those who, according to a written finding by the head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), have engaged in terrorism or espionage or who pose a danger to national security. It

Our side needs to become just as savvy at lawfare as the left is. This is a welcome judgement.

Good. Republicans need to take every other executive order the biden administration is making —to court.

Dems did the same thing to Trump. It was pretty successful.

This is already the second court victory

We have our own Hawaiian judges too. Too bad we only have a couple of them on the Supreme Court.

Also conservatives need to find and identify judges who honest constitutionalists, and are not totally corrupt traitors appointed by Demonicrat or RINOcrats.

What’s sad is that Democrats found judges who prevented the President from enforcing the law.

Republicans have to find judges to stop the Democrat from disobeying the law.

They will ignore the judge’s order. Just watch. And the penalty? Not much.

One problem that became clear during the fraudulent election challenger was how uninterested in law & state constitutions state jiudges are. (Yes I know its no surprise!). These “blatantly” politicized judges need to be identified and voted out. Must people when they vote their state ballots don’t give a momens thought about judges. That needs to change. Publicly identify the “unlaw & unconstitutionally interested” judges mount campaigns against them and vote them out !

Sadly, for some elections (e.g. Austin-Travis County, TX) there are a number of judgeships for which there are only Demonicrats on the ballot.

One thing that would identify true conservative politicians is for them to propose and pass an election reform act which would allow voters to cast one positive or one negative vote for the candidate of their choice for each elected office (just as the voter does for a bond issue or referendum). For each candidate, the negative votes are subtracted from the positive votes, and the candidate with the most positive votes (or, if all candidates have negative totals, the candidate with the least negative vote) wins.

While this won't change the winner for an office that has only one candidate running, the final vote would now include those who cast a negative vote against the candidate.
