Good piece of kit.I picked up the 9.3KW version on sale at Costco for $600 a few years ago. Built an enclosed covered platform for it with a lockable swing-out front panel. Plenty of gaps for ventilation. The platform puts the generator about 2.5 feet above ground, high enough to avoid most snow events.

Well we don't have no hurricanes here, but we could have used one of those in 2019, or 2020. When we had a storm that knocked my neighbor's tree down on on their car. My son helped them to cut the tree down as the insurance didn't want to do it.
It knocked our powerline down in our back yard down and we were with out power for about a hole week. The whole neighbor hood was a mess. The light company had trouble getting to the area because of all the the debris. We had to use candles for light. I think we were out for about a week.
