Most people have already been beaten into submission, and are meek, compliant automatons. Every once in a while one appears who is not. He must be stopped! He must not be allowed to get away! Get him! Make him say 2 + 2 =5! To the gulags with him!
The monstrosity of the TSA should have been abolished as soon as it became clear that there was little to no threat of a 9/11 repeat, not least because passengers showed themselves willing to tear wannabee hijackers to pieces.
