MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell says he expects to lose $65 million in pillow revenue this year because of retailer boycotts over his claims that the 2020 US election was rigged.
That projection, Lindell told Insider in an interview Monday after being served with a defamation lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems seeking $1.3 billion in damages, is evidence he isn't pushing election-fraud claims for the money.
"I lost 20 retailers, and it's cost me $65 million this year that I won't get back, OK?" Lindell told Insider. "There's your story. Print it right. Don't try and twist this."
The 121-page lawsuit alleges the pillow mogul used conspiracy theories about the election to turbocharge sales for his company, using conspiratorial phrases as discount codes and placing expensive advertisements with like-minded media outlets.
"Lindell — a talented salesman and former professional card counter — sells the lie to this day because the lie sells pillows," Tom Clare, the defamation attorney representing Dominion Voting Systems, wrote in the lawsuit.

I don't know that truer words have ever been spoken in regards to this issue. Your statement above needs to be plastered on every billboard in the country.
I love his pillows and I’m conservative. I have them in every bedroom, and all of my family has them in their homes because I have given them as gifts. I have one friend, just one, who didn’t like it after trying it. I don’t think she got the right size or firmness. Like a lot of things, even pillows need to be somewhat customized. Why don’t you give them a try for yourself?
Should have stuck with selling pillows instead of getting involved in politics
Thank goodness there are warriors in this battle. We have too many people like you.
I think you should let MyPillow know about this.
I only would use down pillows but decided to try MyPillow and I love them. Going to have to get a travel one.
I just bought a dog bed. Used promo code rsbn for discount on the items.
So you can’t buy one for a friend? A guest room? These beat any down pillow I ever had and frankly I sleep better knowing I am helping a fellow conservative.
Just sayin’....but as always in our free society “to each his own “
So only the Leftist companies should push their ideology and not Christian conservative companies? All is political now and the costs are huge for those on the right.
So buy some sheets or his autobiography or one of his other other products.
I have had two of his pillows, and my wife has one. I started with the “green” medium-support pillow, but upgraded to the “blue” and am very happy. My wife borrowed my green pillow while I was on a business trip and immediately asked Santa for one of her own.
My Mom has several - and she is very impressed by how well they launder and re-fluff themselves in the washing machine and dryer!
This conservative really likes the pillows.
Should have stuck with selling pillows instead of getting involved in politics
You spineless fraction of a man.
Everything is politicized in this once-great country.
As has been said often in this forum, the Left, inclusive of the entire Democrat Party and Republicans who ally with them, the judiciary, the Media, Entertainment, Education, and Big Media are putting the full court press on Mike Lindell by shutting him up, getting businesses to disassociate with him as a disreputable person, Leftists engaging in the "Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions" regime.
Pray for this man Michael Lindell, because he needs it, and is deserving of it.
Brought a couple late last year....arrived in time for Christmas....and Mrs Spokeshave and family are happy sleepers.
Best pillows Evah,
The Minutemen should have stayed in their homes instead of going out and facing the British on April 19, 1775 instead of getting involved.
John Adams should have stuck with his legal work instead of getting involved.
Thomas Jefferson and George Washington should have stuck with their estates instead of getting involved.
I am disappointed to read a post like that on Free Republic.
Why do you have to listen to other people? The pillow is cheap. It’s like my GF on Amazon feedbacks. If it’s overwhelming, she thinks hard about it. IF the feedback is just idiotic nit picking, she buys it.
Im in the other boat. I just buy stuff. If there’s a problem? Return it.
Everything is political. I want to be aware of company politics so I avoid giving them my hard earned dough. Once my GF learned Bath Bed Beyond was the first to drop MyPillows, my GF avoided it.
I've got this other favorite pillow that I can't give up, but I plan on buying other of his products going forward. I'm starting with sheets.
Thank you for the reminder. I've added him to my list.
Time to repeal the 17th Amendment via a constitutional convention
