Daily Mail I’m not a big fan of Cruz’s after he attacked Trump but, good grief, get a damn life, there are things that really matter like a brain dead president and a stolen election and people freezing in their camp trailers in Texas due to EPA dictates.
This reminds me of the attack on Senator Allen in Virginia.
The reason this keeps going is because he originally said it was just an overnight trip to drop off the kids.
If he were a Democrat it would be not even be a news item.
He’s not a Dem so he needs to think. I thought he was brilliant.
That's a bit odd because Cruz said he never intended to stay and planned on returning directly. Was he inviting his friend to keep his wife company while he went back to Texas?

Sadly, far more people than needed to hand the seat to a Democrat. They SHOULD only care about how he performs as a Senator, on Senate business, and that he’s not owned by anyone or being blackmailed. But that’s not how politics works, and Cruz shouldn’t have had to figure this out after he’s been in the US Senate for 4 years.
Those people, more than enough to throw in on the streets, SHOULDN’T give a Shiite about Cruz going to Cancun, and they should understand that any help he could offer would be more than negated by the distractions associated with his presence there - but we’re stuck with them voting, whether we, or Cruz, like it or not.
I only hang out with one person from college. We see each other every day. I married her.
I actually only had a roommate for one term. He was a total psycho. Like legit psycho. Even threatened to kill me once.
Since I transferred in as a junior, I was able to live off campus and I moved out as soon as I could. I hated “dorm life.”
But, there’s nothing untoward about having a lifelong buddy who’s families vacation together on occasion.
Who cares?
I know. Enough already with this Ted Cruz “scandal”. The attention *should be* completely on Andrew Cuomo!!
Cruz isn’t up for reelection until 2024. It will be fun to see how long the media and their leftist puppet masters will try to milk this story.
“Friends” should not be put in a position to defend stupid decisions.
My beef with Cruz is that he apologized. If you grovel, they’ll just kc you when you’re down. He should have doubled down.

While I agree he didn’t help himself there, it keeps going because THEY own the media and can keep it alive as long as it sells copy.
That’s why Cruz, if as tone-deaf as he appears, should have hired a decent PR firm to pre-clear him for every time he steps out of his front door...at least if he wanted to remain a viable politician.
