I saw Earth Wind and Fire in their heyday, 1981. The audience was a great mix of black, white and whatever. We love the music, not the color of the skin.
The other day, I saw a TV show about Hitsville, the Motown studio’s. Barry Gordy and Smokey Robinson both spoke about transcending race.
Personally I prefer 70’s R&B over virtually every other type of music.
I once did two back to back James Brown shows. Great seats. Fabulous!
