Courts have given themselves quite a bit of authority over the years. Not sure how much of this has been challenged. I doubt any. Kind of like judges giving themselves judicial immunity. Not sure if that’s such a thing.

But, when an issue is ignored, it’ll become a problem down the road. The legislatures have become too obedient to the courts and when you have a rigged system like they do in Pennsylvania, you need to take drastic measures.

“Courts have given themselves quite a bit of authority over the years.”

Per the Constitution, Congress determines the jurisdiction of the federal courts. The Courts have taken power, not enumerated in the Constitution. Congress and the President have failed to check that power using Constitutional remedies. For example from January 2017-January 2019 the GOP controlled both houses of Congress and the President’s office. Congress could have passed a law, which would have been signed by President Trump, to limit the power of individual federal judges to declare regulations and laws unconstitutional on a whim. Instead the GOP Congress spent two years joining the Democrats in fighting the President.

As for the Supreme Court, the court may have rightly chosen not to hear the 2020 case. The Constitution gives the states, not the federal government, the power to administer elections. There is no enumerated power for the Supreme Court to hear election cases at the state level, much less overturn results. The 10th Amendment specifically gives the states and the people all powers not specifically given the federal government. Fraud has been a significant factor in state, local and national elections throughout US history. The founders would tell the people to get involved in state and local elections to ensure better people are in office who will clean up the corruption.
