I’d assume the word is out that the judiciary will not interfere in the inner workings of any Covid related decisions, especially by the leader of a state....

Been fairly obvious that the judiciary/legal system is as much a part of the "Elite" as anybody.

If not (at least in their own minds) at the top leadership level.

Agree. Its easy to forget that they owe their “ seats/positions” to political appointments so can easily be swayed to ignore justice when needed.
