For the third time in less than five months, the U.S. Congress has summoned the CEOs of social media companies to appear before them, with the explicit intent to pressure and coerce them to censor more content from their platforms. On March 25, the House Energy and Commerce Committee will interrogate Twitter’s Jack Dorsey, Facebooks’s Mark Zuckerberg and Google’s Sundar Pichai at a hearing which the Committee announced will focus “on misinformation and disinformation plaguing online platforms.”

Agree, with the caveat that I’m sure the authoritarian left will continue to search for new leverage they can apply to control those sites. It won’t be as easy given they’ve hardened their infrastructure, but I’m sure vulnerability remains.

NPR is generally unlistenable. Even the BBC content is getting irritating.
I gave up on ABC Evening News but even NBC Evening News can be unbearable.
And then there is the paywall problem.

The FCC and a dozen other FedGov agencies, or our out-of+control and unlawful Congress can, and eventually will, (if we don’t immediately end, and decisively and prejudicially take back true election control) — END ALL non-socialist/non-compliant speech.
Tyranny isn’t at our doorstep, it’s over us now.
The question is how to end it.
We will end it by whining on the internet.

I don’t mind Parler. Right now I’m seeing the same stuff on it I see on Gab. You seem to run across a lot more anti-semitism on Gab.
