The facial recognition software can still tell who is who with a high degree of accuracy by measuring distances, angles, sizes of facial features: angles between and distances between the corners of your eyes, chin, bridge of nose, tip of nose, cheek bones, lips, etc., as well as the relative and absolute sizes. No one has exactly the same measurements you do. If you want to fool the software, wear a thick mask that hides those features.

As a Sanctuary State, it doesn’t make sense. They bring in illegals without any photo id’s at all, feed them, free medical, free housing, allowed to vote and a cash allowance just so they vote Democratic.

Excerpt from a CNN(ugh!) report:
"In an emailed statement to CNN, the California DMV said the masked photo was a mistake. 'Customers are asked to remove their face covering when a photo is taken," the DMV said. "In this instance there was an oversight. The customer should have been asked to lower her mask for the photo.'"
(This, of course, presumes you are able to believe anything CNN reports or what the CA DMV says.)
