That Ring cruz could have brought 5 or 6 dozen people with him to help relieve the grid. And stay there for a week.

Yet another reason why his groveling apology did us much harm.

Flyin’ Ted should have been more careful. He should have been on the horn exposing Biteme’s lack of attention. Missed opportunity. Now he can say nothing.

If I were him I would be in the office and in the face of each and every ERCOT officer any second I wasn’t in front of the cameras or organizing something, ANYTHING for relief.

Although a bit foolish on Cruz’s part, this “scandal” is just a ridiculous distraction. The Dems and their pet media are desperate to turn what’s happened in TX into something that benefits them politically.

Ted Cruz is one of the good guyz. Just wish Trump wouldn’t have stuck that “lying Ted” label on him during the campaign. Many to this day still parrot that.

Ted Cruz is a constitutional conservative and has fought the Obozo administration and leftist for years now.

The senator everyone should focus on replacing is John Swamp creature Cornyn. He is awarsh in establishment-ism. If Mitch McConnell stopped too fast walking down the hall...Cornyn would shoot right up his rear end.

Gaslight much? In the end, he was one of the few friends that Trump had.

Much ado about nothing.

I can say that if my senators were AWOL during a crisis in my state, their status would be the farthest thing from my mind. People who are in the midst of a disaster are not thinking or worrying about what their state senator is doing. They are trying to figure how to adapt and overcome that disaster. People who look to the government to fix their problems get what they deserve.

This Texan doesn’t care what he was doing.

Cruz should have informed the accusers that his family left the state so they’d wouldn’t be using any precious electricity and water. His leaving saved ERCOT from a complete crash. Good on Cruz!

Laws are made in The House of Representatives. The Senate vetoes them or approves them and then they're sent to the Executive Branch.

No. He should be cheered for not using electricity and water.

Such a dumb argument.

I can’t believe folks are promoting Cruz is irrelevant as his defense,

Ever hear of moral support? Or is that beneath the dignity of his office?

As a matter of fundamental principle, Cruz and other leaders must share the common joys and sufferings of those whom they are privileged to lead.

This principle resides deeply in human psychology. Thus Churchill and the British royal family remained in London during the Blitz, helping to sustain morale and earning the enduring respect of the British people.

Those with knowledge of ancient history will recall the story of when Alexander the Great and his army ran out of water on a desperate march through the desert. At one stop for rest, Alexander was offered the last of their water -- and poured it out on the sand without drinking a drop of it.

Alexander's army would and did follow him almost anywhere and fought many desperate battles for him. But had Alexander taken a drink, he likely would have ended up dead after a mutiny.

“ But he’s a tone deaf simpleton”

And you throw baseless insults around.

Cruz memorized the Constitution as a child and is on the Princeton Hall of Fame debate team.

Do you have that beat?
