Well, how about we start with his Presidential aspirations:
If he really wants to be President, perception is key. Add in a totally insane Marxist press that is hostile to anything or anyone even remotely conservative and it should be obvious.
If he truly wants to be President, he has to be a Leader, and probably more important, there has to be a perception that he is a leader.
This bonehead move on his part DID NOT show him to be a Leader, much less a compassionate leader.
You don’t go off to Cancun, because you can, while those you want to lead are suffering. You just don’t do this.
As for me, given this action and his lastest actions stabbing President Trump in the back by blaming him for the Protests/Riots in D.C. on the 6th, I personally wouldn’t vote for him for dog-catcher.
He seems to be a vindictive, self-serving politician (in a bad way).
The fact that he truly does want to be President despite the fact that he is not a natural born citizen means I will never trust Ted Cruz.
He as born in Canada to a Cuban father.
If he is a natural born citizen so are Anwar al-Awlaki’s kids, born in Yemen to one citizen parent.
So would Winston Churchill, who also had an American mother and was granted “honorary” citizenship by Congress.
All children born outside the US have a file that describes how and when they acquired citizenship, we need to see his.
We know he gave up his Canadian citizenship in 2014.
Lead what? If Cruz is to take a leadership role, why have Abbott and everyone else?
The people of Texas elected Abbott and the other state officials to handle state affairs.
Of course, Cruz could have reached out to President Harris and Biden, but if those two need him to tell them what is going on....well then? Didn’t something similar happen in Kentucky under the administration before the Trump Administration and that guy chose to do nothing.

75,000,000 voters rejected the press and Democrats’ witchhunts to overwhelmingly vote for President Trump in numbers never before seen.
And there IS no groundswell support for Biden or Harris. They have millions of fraudulents returns.
