Is racism in the DNA of white people, and is it a permanent part of American society? Critical race theorists argue that American society is structured to give white people undeserved advantages over people of color. They say people who look like me (Black) are victims. We are supposedly powerless to free ourselves from systemic racism, institutional structures, and cultural stereotypes that keep us in bondage. Systemic racism permeates every facet of our lives, including institutions and laws. The only hope is for whites to become “woke,” or conscious, of their racism and commit themselves to becoming antiracist. So, where did we get these ideas that now undergird the diversity, equity, and inclusion industry that rests on top of existing affirmative action programs that have been around since the mid-1960s?

Critical theory has both broad and narrow meanings depending on whether the discussion is about philosophy or the history of the social sciences. The critical race theory impacting our lives comes from cultural Marxism, which developed as a theory to explain the failure of Karl Marx’s economic Marxism.

Whiteness is viewed as property that carries with it a right of possession, exclusion, and right of use. Additionally, whites can divest themselves by becoming consciously anti-racist. This means that they must actively search for and combat real and perceived manifestations of white privilege or white racism expressed by other whites.

Not long. I did crime stats for a decade, blacks make up 13% of total population, 50% of that 13% are in prison, jail, or have been, How do they explain that. Hispanics are approaching same numbers, Whites are the higher # simply because we are the larger population, Asians the least. Recidivism across the board is 75% nationally, maybe closer to 80%. Small 11 month 29 day facilities are 90%. Time served usually 90 days.

My granddaughter in California had to write an essay on how she benefited from her whiteness. She runs track and has a hard time keeping up with the black girls.
This whole thing goes back to the 60’s. Moynihan pinpointed the deterioration of the black family (he actually used the word negro ) as being the foremost social problem facing the country. Lyndon Johnson got right on it and set up a commission and they agreed with a program to correct this. The race hustlers and politicians rose up against the idea as being a process of blaming the victims. In fact they objected to losing their political power, and so the Great Society was born.
Now the black family with a father at home is a myth except in TV commercials. 78% of black kids grow up with no male at home except for rotating boyfriends. This style is accepted and boys grow up to emulate it and hit the streets. Girls take after their mothers. And the beat goes on.
The CRT ignores this evil completely, blaming it on whites and their economic power.
Now white fatherless families are more numerous than the negro families of the 60’s. That style family is a losing proposition and certainly not privilege.
We can all conjure up something to be angry about. But it seems to me, that blacks are mad that their culture and traditions cannot compete economically within the United States. Welfare did not help. Affirmative action did not help. Children out of wedlock did not help. Murder in inner cities did not help. Rap culture did not help. Black Liberation Theology did not help. Obama did not help. Critical Race Theory does not help.
The only thing that will help is turn to God for guidance, work hard at whatever job you are capable of, get married, stay married, raise your kids to be good citizens with a work ethic reflected by your own actions, value education, be content with what you have and hope for a better future for your kids.
On White Privilege:
The best revenge for minorities against White Privilege is to compete and succeed. If you believe that the “playing field” is not level then you have two choices, compete anyway and work even harder to succeed, or go find another playing field. Remember, I am talking about the minority perception of the playing field, not the reality of it in today’s America.
The other playing field would be to succeed within your own minority community. Black owned businesses in Black neighborhoods, buying from Black distributors and producers.
Minorities will never find a solution in expecting Whites to tip the playing field in their direction. The two groups have a completely different view of the field of competition. I think that Whites go about their lives competing on the field of life and don’t even see the Blacks on the sidelines. Blacks stand on the sidelines and have no idea how to get on the field. For some reason they think they need to ask permission of the Whites to play?
Just step on the field and compete! Or don’t. It’s up to you. But don’t blame it on me if you can’t.
Booker T Washington:
Booker T. Washington (1865–1915) warned of such people within the black community in his 1911 book My Larger Education. He described them as “problem profiteers”:
“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs – partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.” (p. 118)
I love Carol Swain. I was hoping she’d be on PDJT’s list for SCOTUS.
Geesh, people.
All groups, even those made up of “differently colored folks” are wary of outsiders. That doesn’t mean they are racists or haters. They are simply reacting normally and rationally to the unfamiliar; cause the unfamiliar is much too frequently a risk. Think of an isolated village years ago. Suddenly a family approaches. How do “we” know that the family is not running away from a plague that hit nearby?
This initial aversion, wariness is not only natural but healthy. The ones who did not display such caution were removed from the gene pool.
But, the mark of civilization is to keep the level of aversion low key. Develop methods to evaluate the “outsiders” and accept them if their pros outweigh their cons. This results in a melting pot procedure. You/we gradually assimilate/merge.
Saying that any particular group is racist fits the definition of racism. CRT is simply the KKK rewritten. Oddly enough, by the same people — the denizens of the DNC and their ilk.
All peoples, all groups were at one time or another the slaves of others. Likewise, they were slave owners. Get over it. Go read a history book.
She ran for Nashville mayor. The dumbasses in the city thought a fatass white guy named John Cooper who raised property taxes 34% was a wiser choice!

This is a direct inversion of the racist lie that blacks have the Mark of Cain and are thus morally inferior to whites, so it is fine to enslave and “educate” them.
