Devolution happened NOT because the armed forces disagreed with a president.
It happened because our global enemies helped STEAL an election in order to install a puppet who is a de facto enemy agent.

The Left would rather not have a military, than have one whose primary loyalty is to the Constitution.
This feels a lot like the 1930’s. There is a tremendous amount of dead wood in the senior military leadership. The problem is there is no George Marshall on the horizon to start clearing it out and identifying the leaders we will need when a real war comes along.

I’ve been in one. We had draftees. Boys. From the farms, suburbs, many from the ghetto. Most with just high school degrees, not very many college graduates.
You want to end wars, or really defend your country? Draft everyone of age regardless of race, sex, family wealth, education, or political connections.
You can argue any and every point you like, but until everyone has some money in the game it’s bull sh!t.
There is only one reason young men fight. That reason does not really occur until you have unit cohesion and are in battle. Men fight for self for self preservation and for their fellow soldiers. The rest is BS.

The very first draftees I ever met were while I was in intensive care with them in the Tachikawa AFB hospital. They were interesting guys - different world view than I had as a Marine, but I liked 'em.
Here's the part I agree with you about: if we have a war on, everydamnbuddy other than psychos in the Psych ward should be drafted to do something the serve their country. But ladies or sexual deviants in the combat troops - or even in theater unless it's completely necessary.
We don't need distractions.
Served Ft. Hood/Frankfurt 1982-1986, NG 1986-1988 during the glorious Reagan Era. There were homos but they kept it to themselves. It was a disciplined meritocracy where nearly everyone got what they earned on as fair a basis as possible. May God save America.
