What they are talking about is the transcription process which as you lint out has nothing to do with the vaccines. Actually this is quite exciting as a targeted cancer treatment but what most of the molecular biology illiterates will not understand is that the messenger RNA vaccines currently are in the transcribed form and merely seeking translation to create the protein for immunity.
