I am so deeply saddened by this news. Our thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
...
RIP Rush
So. Sad.
It was his attitude that bucked me up. He reminded me to be tough, resilient and hopeful. I often thought about, “as iron sharpens iron... “ when Rush reminded me there would be another day, another fight and another victory to be savored.
He was a very great man. He had made his own world secure by his hard work and he was then free to help us without much personal concern for himself. As he started he may not have had such personal safety but he did have courage. I always thought the whole affair of it was a blessing to all.
So, Fox was saying Rush’s last broadcast was December 23, but I’ve heard him on the air several times this year. Is that not correct?
this is not a one day sadness. this is the end of an era. this is like your brother, your mentor passing - the touchstone whose voice of reason and knowledge you needed greatly at certain moments. the explainer, the persuader, the stabilizer... so many facets to his personality. one of a kind. and great to the very last. Godspeed and condolences to Kathryn, Mr Snerdley and staff and all the Limbaugh family.
Listening to Dennis Prager talk about rush........
He said rush had perfect political pitch. You can’t teach it. You either have it or you don’t and rush had it. He could foresee what was gonna happen and he had a way of explaining it in a manner everyone in his vast audience could understand. As Dennis Prager just said on his show, today is a huge loss. Huge.
Prayers! A sad day.
the three great “where were you when’s”
Kennedy shot
9/11 attack
when Rush died...
My prayer for him has been that his his profession of faith in Jesus would draw in countless souls who have been untouched by the gospel. I’m sure he has heard, well done, thou good and faithful servant”.
Another poster made me recall a later 4th leg on stool: the late Andrew Breitbart. His site continues and Larry O’Conner keeps his memory alive on his radio show. (WMAL.com, 3 - 6 pm EST)
Yea, Verily.
Losing both Rush and Herman Cain a double whammy loss of wise Sages.
Lord we won’t ask why but instead will praise you for such gifts you really did send us on loan from above.
“Reading the cheers from those in the enemedia will be tough”.
Just consider the source and ignore (or pity) them for their vindictiveness.
Remember these are truly MALIGNANT PEOPLE.
5th MEB :(
Thanks.
I’ve been listening to Rush since the beginning, in 1988 when his show was broadcast on WABC in NYC. I remember him mentioning how if any woman deserves a National Holiday in her honor it would be Mary Jo Kopechne. By giving her life she effectively destroyed any chance of Ted Kennedy ever becoming President. RIP, Rush. Thanks for the laughs and your thoughtful insight and unwavering optimism. Prayers to the Limbaugh family.🙏🙏🙏🙏
February 2, 2021 was his last broadcast. And he sounded and looked good.
I say embrace it. I wouldn’t care if Stalin, or Hitler had something bad to say about me, and I don’t care what the left says about me or Rush. I embrace their hated, and know I must be doing the right things to get hated by such evil.
Dec 23 as Rush’s “last broadcast” is NOT correct. His last 2 shows were Feb 2d and 3d, per his website.
His Dec 23d show was, in effect a “Farewell” to all of us. After it ended I realized that he knew that, as he said “make it to third base.” Many others realized that as well.
