According to another article cited on this thread it wasn’t a Trump sign but a sign for the Republican candidate for governor. The writer(or -ers) of the the main thread article appears to be amping up the antitrump angle.

Sad to say that in this day and age it's entirely plausible that it wasn't a Trump sign but would be reported as such.
