Before that, I would push his wheel chair to the polls and stay with him. I never influenced him (He had a mind of his own for sure) but if you have an elderly parent or relative, it is your responsibility to help them. But I think what they are talking about here is going into rest homes and “helping” the elderly vote and chose candidates and propositions. Which is I think illegal and unethical. If judges allow this to happen, well, that is anti-democracy, you know, what Democrats scream about?
