If I remember correctly, the Canadian lab had been working on “patented” coronavirus strains.
These two had worked there for years, shuttling back and forth to Wuhan.
Of course, the Wuhan lab... again if I remember correctly... has a number of westerners on staff there.
The real question is, why would anyone “work” on these viruses unless it was a weapon... asking for millions of murdered persons.
