As the Biden Administration and the CDC continue to flip-flop and move the goal posts regarding the use of COVID masks, first claiming they only needed to be worn for the first 100 days of the Biden presidency, and now claiming they need to be worn for the next year, Tennessee legislators are advancing a bill that would criminalize discrimination against non-mask wearers. Tennessee lawmakers have crafted and introduced the Medical Non-Discrimination Business and Consumer Act. This bill is designed to prevent the private sector from discriminating against those who do not wear COVID masks in public places.
The legislation is crafted to include non-mask wearing into anti-discrimination and disability laws, bringing mask-wearing in line with laws preventing private businesses from general discrimination, the illegal invasion of medical privacy, and the violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
As written, the bill would prohibit any person and/or business owner from denying an individual the “full and equal enjoyment of goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of a place of public accommodation, resort, or amusement on the grounds of the wearing or use of a medical device, or whether the individual has received medical treatment, such as a vaccine.”

This bill protects both businesses & consumers from medical device (mask) discrimination & retribution.
TN business owners sign here👇
That should make property values there take a nice jump.
It’s logical that the person who is most vulnerable and scared should wear a mask. I’m completely fed up with this nonsense.
Yay! Looks like a nice to TN might be in my future cause Im tired of being bullied here just because I have breathing problem in masks due to underlying health condition.
It’s none of government’s affair what conditions I choose to set on admission to my business.
Next up will be similar protections for those who don’t want to wear shirts or shoes.
Tell that to all the businesses who have paid millions for violating civil rights of blacks that they refused to allow into their hotels, restaurants etc going back decades.
“businesses who have paid millions for violating civil rights of blacks”
Is that a law conservatives should support?
Yeah the streets and store aisles are covered with their bodies.
Gonna make it tough on American Airlines at BNA.
“Officer? This gate agent won’t let me on the airplane without a mask. I want her arrested for discrimination.”
“Yes, ma’am, right away.”
Turning to the agent, “And you...you have the right to remain silent, anything you say....”
(What a dream.)
Its already been the law going back to the Civil Rights Act back in the 60’s And it was the Dems that voted aginst it. Republicans are the ones who made the Civil Rights Act possible.
On This Day in 1964, Democrats Filibustered the Civil Rights ActJune 10, 1964, was a dramatic day in the United States Senate. For the first time in its history, cloture was invoked on a civil rights bill, ending a record-breaking filibuster by Democrats that had consumed fifty-seven working days. The hero of the hour was minority leader Senator Everett McKinley Dirksen (R-Ill.).

Grand Old Partisan reported, via DANEgerus:
On this day in 1964, Everett Dirksen (R-IL), the Republican Leader in the U.S. Senate, condemned the Democrats’ 57-day filibuster against the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Leading the Democrats in their opposition to civil rights for African-Americans was Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV). Byrd, who got into politics as a recruiter for the Ku Klux Klan, spoke against the bill for fourteen straight hours. Democrats still call Robert Byrd “the conscience of the Senate.”
Masks do far more harm than good. They cause unhealthy inhalations.
The Soro/Socialist Party likes control over the proletariat. Thus, the robotic face mask populace.
It’s way past time to tell the feds to take their face masks, and insert them where there is no sunshine.
You need to EXEMPT All Federal Employee’s, they should be actively discriminated against for anything and everything.
Already up to the business owner.
Shouldn't mask wearing be as well? Yet this proposed law would take that away from the store owners, so why not the 'no shoes, no shirts, no service' restrictions as well?
