Absolutely correct. Mitch McConnell has been blocking good conservative candidates from winning senate seats for decades. See Chris McDaniel’s run for the senate seat from Missouri in 2014.
There will be no reforming or rehabilitation of the senate as long as Mitch McConnell is their leader. He will be there for six more years.
It will be a disaster if Trump tries to GOTV for the GOPe Senate in 2022. I really hope he pulls his punches and waits for 2024 if he intends to run then.
