I have to disagree with Kurt on one thing....the Democrats are FIENDISHLY PLOTTING AT ALL TIMES and they MOVE FAST.....unlike our Slow-Witted, Slow-Footed Republicans that NDEVER see 2 feet in front of them until it’s 50 yards back!
We’ll be better off with a party that actually represents conservative values. The GOP needs to be offed in short order.
Will there be meaningful reform to address voter fraud?
If so, then there is a path forward.
If not, then there isn’t a path forward.
That is a cheer right out of the 1920s of the last century. That cheer is just as meaningful as the crap this guy is handing out. He wants us to approve of his character so we will go to his new platform. We have been treated to an advert thinly disguised as optimistic conservatism.
If he wants me reading his stuff, he better tighten up and serve up some reasons, not this vapid cheerleading.
There are real reasons for pessimism which should be discussed honestly on an adult level so they can be overcome.
Or we can go on mindlessly chanting:
Boom a locka,Boom a locka,sis boom bah!
To vote or not to vote. That is the question.
My mother used to say, if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything. It was good advice some days.
You don’t have to read his blog, watch his videos or even take his advice. I am resigned to the fact there are some of you happy in your own little bubble of misery.
You don’t have to like the guy but his message is spot on.
Don’t ruin it for the rest of us.
We get the government we deserve.
Always been that way, always will be that way.
Maybe you should take your own advice.
“..cool people acknowledge that the best Who song (I finally saw them live thanks to frequent “Unredacted” podcast guest Drew Matich and it was amazing) is “Baba O’Reilly,” but discerning people understand that the second best anthem by this remarkable band is “The Kids Are Alright.”
I’m sorry, but this Who fan is feeling more and more that my personal anthem is “The Real Me” (to be sung to all the politicos out there)...
“Can you see the real me, can ya? CAN YA?
I think only Donald Trump (and Ronald Reagan) has ever been able to honestly answer, “Yes, I see you.”
Your image is being blocked.
Hey, Kurt. Re: Conservative, Inc.: “The Song Is Over.”
That's up to the individual Patriots in each state - are we going to do the sometimes dirty footwork in our own states?
And we DO NOT want the Feds anywhere near our elections - THAT would be the end of it all.
Rather than indulge our Pollyanna feel-good instincts, perhaps we should soberly look at the landscape.
I understand that it is risky, always risky, to say this time it's different but there are two extraordinary factors which might indeed make this time very different:
1. A new ideology has swept the land that abandons reason, turns all logic on its head, refuses to deal with contrary facts, appears to be unstoppable in its cultural impact and is inimical everything a conservative stands for: critical theory a cultish philosophy that also extends its tentacles with the names, intersectionality, critical race theory, postmodernism and others.
This ideology now dominates virtually every American and Western institution from academia to the Defense Department to the deep state and virtually every means of communication and political discourse. This ideology is bidding fair to do away with the First Amendment right of free speech and impose a cancel culture, aided by the lights of perverted digital technology, that it's on its way to make it almost impossible for conservatism to make its ideology heard, much less prevail.
2. There is a black Swan out there somewhere, there always is. This time many of us think the threat is not so unknowable but quite obviously to be anticipated: a crash of the economy brought about by our profligate monetary and fiscal policies which have bankrupted the country, the states, and its people. When the crunch comes, if it comes at all, it is almost certain to lead to more government, likely more repressive government, almost certainly a more socialistic government and provide a ready excuse to do away with the rest of the Bill of Rights.
If these two imponderables combine, we hardly have a bright future but one of primitive struggle for survival.
These are some of the things those of us who treasure conservative government and our Bill of Rights ought to be concerned about rather than Boom a locka, Boom a locka, sis boom bah.
I can see the image in a new tab but FR is breaking the image.
There is a black Swan = Covid hoax.
Marking.
