Thaw the windmills with snow covered solar panels. Easy fix, right?

There’s a lot to be said for gas furnaces, ovens and water heaters...

Pinwheel power.

We’ve got those decorations spoiling our ridgelines here as well.

SAD.

Yup. They work just fine - except when you need them.

electricity operators warned that demand could overwhelm the state’s power grid and force rotating power outages.

So just when ya need it most, you might not have it.

Are they going to cut power to hospitals and nursing homes so Jerry Jones Stadium gets all the power it needs? That’s what they did a few years ago.

I’m old enough to remember when ERCOT meant Electric *RELIABILITY* Council of Texas

Kinda surprised those wind turbines can freeze up. Those things are YUGE! I would have guessed there are de-icers and heaters to keep them going.

There are many workable solutions.
Liberals are aware (or actively ignore) all of them.

Sounds like Californicator land, where power failures are often and often unannounced.

That’s insulting and degrading for Texas to have to have a rolling blackout. If that happens, they need to run the state house in Austin out on a rail. There is absolutely no excuse for an energy rich state that’s relatively capitalist to run low on electricity.

Who could see that potential problem?

Certainly today’s “socialists” who learned well from their predecessors of the 20th Century how to murder over 100 million of their subjects and relegate the rest to penury and misery.
