Well, that I think would be problematic. I don’t think a State could do that because if someone has rented a hotel in another state, that would fall under Federal Jurisdiction dealing with Interstate Commerce.

I think the US Supreme court ruled in 1999 that 3 aspects of the right to travel are Constitutional. Now, the Feds can restrict commerce as that would fall under the Interstate Commerce clause and since the US airspace falls under the jurisdiction of the Feds, they can restrict air travel and I think do it legally.

People getting on a train or driving a car I think they can’t restrict.

That is my take on it

It’s an issue that is 1,000,000 down the line of importance. It’s why we are always on the losing end. We worry about the dumbest things. Meanwhile liberals are making our country more and more liberal. But keep worrying about an issue that will disappear and never be heard about in a year.
