If there were enough real Trump Republicans, or even loyal Republicans, they would replace the minority leader. But, they stand with him, shame on them.
It's better to place the blame on others than to accept your own blame.

Bill O’Reilly believes McConnell literally hates Donald Trump because DJT never kowtowed to him. He didn’t schmooze and lay on the flattery like Mitch demands as a potentate in his own mind.
We think of Mitch as a wishy washy political bloodsucker in the DC Swamp. He sees himself as an emperor of the Senate.
McConnell talking about morality. Now that’s really rich.

Astute point. Trump took the high road. It was an epic and principled statement, something the Repukes don’t understand.
All he is doing here is signaling to the Ruling Establishment that he's on their side and he's letting them know he needs and wants their support.
The Ruling Establishment in this country, foul though it may be, is extremely powerful. It takes a man like Trump to challenge it. And there is only one Trump.
Mitch is the very reason I don’t donations give to the GOP anymore....He is not only cowardly, he is totally disloyal to me and the former President Trump and the GOP. President Trump did not incite the mob that was at the White House...that was pre-planned and started well before the then President’s speech was over. It is Pelosi’s job to make sure the Capitol security is in place...she was missing the night before and on the 6th also.
What’s morally reprehensible is acquiescing to a massive crime like the one we all saw take place in six states on November 4th, 2020, eight hours after Donald J. Trump clearly and overwhelmingly won re-election.
This garbage “McConnell” wants us to live under a tyrant who occupies the highest office in the land without leave of the governed.
At no time in American history has there ever been such a clear cut case of this. And I do know about 1960.
