“McConnell just committed political suicide.”

Mitch was just reelected to a 6 year term. He is 78 years old and will be 84 when he faces the voters again. Likely he planned to retire anyway.

The only recourse is for the party base in massive numbers to tell their GOP Senators they want Mitch replaced as minority leader. Unless Senators who do have long term aspirations are concerned about offending their voters, nothing will happen. Each one of us needs to be on the phone Monday with Senate offices and sending emails tonight.

Mitch has no fear of Kentucky voters.

But as a resident of Kentucky, he is subject the the laws of Kentucky - he had better hope that all of his business deals are legal.....if a whistleblower happens along, all bets are off.

I lived in KY for a number of years but have been gone a number of years, too. But I understand it is a Trump state.
