Because McCarthy said it was not an accurate representation of his call or what he told the *itch. Also, if they had put in their case documents the defense would have been within their rights to place McCarthy’s denial of the accuracy of the *bitch’s statement.
No doubt that the prosecution did not want the defense to have time to prepare a rebuttal to their “charge”. They wanted to drop it on the defense without an opportunity to prepare, just like they did with the “never before seen” capital tapes that the defense did not see until it was presented during the trial.
In a court of law that would have been thrown out because it was not shared with the defense prior to trial, but this is the Dems normal M.O.
