To: Basket_of_Deplorables

It is no secret, that most of the network equipment made in China contains chips, which sent the network info to China. That’s actually easier to do and the Chinese get all the info they really need.
We (major corporation) were allowed to use only the expensive Cisco routers, which are supposedly OK. There may be some other safe routers up there, but I do not know for sure.
Just assume that all your network info goes to China.

Just assume that all your network info goes to China.

Encyption will stop snooping except for side channel. There may be enough clear data (e.g. DNS) to be interesting to them.
