Will the anonymous sourced articles ever end? Don’t believe the report at all.

".... according to the people familiar with his evaluation...."
".... two people familiar with the events said...."
Does any one else see a pattern here? All of their sources are unamed. Anonymous. Nobody who can corroborate the story.
Translated into plain English: "We hate Trump and here are our sources and proof for that statement."
If these so-called journalists have sources for their story, either identify them by name or the story is not a story. It is fake news, which they've made up.
There is no such thing as anonymous sources in today's news. Use of these unnamed or anonymous sources is merely a red flag that the periodical has drifted across the dividing line between news and fiction.
If they want to use these unnamed sources to editorialize with, they can do that as long as they identify it as their "opinion".
But in the meantime, stop pissing all over my pants leg and telling me it's raining.
