No good goes unpunished. He exposed some important people. For this he must pay with his life. In addition, it sends a message to the serfs not to get too uppity and forget who your master is.

Word was that Mitch told Trump, if he (Trump) pardoned either Assange and/or Snowden, the likelihood of the former president being full out convicted would be much, much higher. I think it was seen as a power struggle with RINOs and Endless War Lovers on one side, and Trump + his MAGA voters on the other side.

this is all show. The LAST thing any court in this country wants is the “TRUTH”. When you boil it all down, Assange was only telling the truth. That is what the feds hate him for. The feds hate Snowden for the same reason. Snowden revealed that the feds are spying on us, violating our constitutional rights. So, now he can’t live here anymore or they’ll lock him away forever, without trial, without attorney, without phone call. That is where we are. The feds lie, and lie, and lie... but if you tell the “TRUTH” they’ll crucify you.

Precisely. But he will NEVER be allowed to tell that truth.

Trump should have overridden that WH attorney and pardoned Assange while he had the chance.

Absolutely agree. A major missed opportunity to tell the deep state to frack off.

They would have us believe they really care about the nation.

LOL, he upset Hillary.

She skates on all the secret information she stored on her
computer that the world became privy to.

Seth Rich is dead. I don’t think they’ll be happy until
Assange is also.

Why in the name of reason did Trump not pardon Assange?

Simple enough, his close advisors had more influence over his decisions than we did.

Press: Like to talk to you about wikileaks.

Joe: Hey man, you better put a zip on it. None of that language here.

Press: Julian Assuage

Joe: Don’t start mentioning sausages and taking leaks. We’re not in some barn in Delaware.

Press: No, no, no. Not sausages. AUSSAGE!

Joe: Make it clean. I mean it, man.

Press: AUSSAGE, WIKILEAKS!!!

Joe: Look, I don’t care if your weany leaks. I’m the president of the United States and you shouldn’t be talking like this to me! OK, I’m older and have a leaky weany or sausage, as you put it, but I take precautions.

Press: This is too much.

Joe: No, diapers are not expensive at all. Buy them at any WALGREENS.

Assange didn’t kill himself.

Thought I’d get a head start.

*** yeah, that would have fixed everything. hell, he’d still be president if he had just pardoned someone that everyone has long since stopped caring about. ***

I actually do care that our Government has shown they will persecute, torture, lie, and destroy a man whose “crime” was Truth Telling.

I quit giving a care about Trump over Syria, and Assange. Trump gained nothing by trying to please his “minders”.

*** Biden is going to finish Obama’s work and pardon Assange. ***

Oh, really, then why did Biden’s US DOJ appeal Baraitser’s ruling against extradition today?

It's probably just to keep up precedents.

Obama was friends with Assange. Assange called him on his personal number to give him heads up. And Obama pardoned his accomplice.

Assange's father even said Biden would pardon his son.
