The Freddy Gray case was a little more Grey. This one is a little more Black and White. No puns intended. 😎

Given that he was handcuffed I almost certainly wouldn't have put my knee on his neck.I would have taken other steps to control him.

Chauvin put his knee on the ground, trapping Floyd's head beneath his shinbone but not putting pressure on his airway - precisely as the Minneapolis Police training manual taught him to do.

The state has no case, but will likely convict him anyway because BLM opinion demands it.

[[Take your hand try to choke yourself by pressing from the back of the neck. Then try it from the front.]]

Also try to strangle oneself to the point where it cuts off the air, and will eventually result in death if not let up- then try to speak CLEARLY, Distinctly, and continue breathing- Can’t be done

Floy spoke clearly and distinctly, right up till the point that he passed out- He was also clearly seen breathing, and heard breathing when you listen closely to the tapes, all of them- even from the officer’s body cameras- Floyd was breathing- He was also checked twice after he passed out to make sure he was still breathing- he was-

There is no way Floyd woudl have been udnerstood clearly liek he was, if his airway was so cut off that it led to death- I tried it- your voice gets severely distorted, and sounds very odd- Floyd did not sound liek that at all

[[He had a sensation of being unable to breathe from the overdose.]]

Exactly- many drug overdose victims, while they are dying, if they are able to speak, complain that they can’t breathe- when they can- Floyd was no different- he was panicking because the drugs were causing edema of the lungs- very likely- that is a fluid buildup in the lungs- His lungs were 2-3 times the weight they were supposed to be-

Dr Baden should have made that point, but since he was paid by the family- he kept that part out I guess- Had he come out and stated that right from the start- like any objective DR should have, This whole thing would have simmered down a lot- Sadly He didn’t- and decided to falsely claim floyd was murdered and gave some ridiculous statement such as a ‘person can still talk while not taking a breath’ to ‘prove his ridiculous assertion’ Baden is respo0nsible for keeping hte racism and false narrative alive- which WILL result in riots if the jury does the right thing and acquits chauvin becuase hte evidence in it’s entirety shows he did not cut off floyd’s airway

[[It does not support the left’s narrative that Floyd was repeating “I can’t breathe” before he was put on the ground.]]

Floyd was sayign that before he was ever put in handcuffs- it’s the first thing he told the cops when they rolled up on his car outside the store- floyd never stopped saying it through hte whole 20 minutes or however long the whole incident lasted- He was freaking out from the very first encounter-

[[I don’t like what Chauvin did,]]
[[but I think he encountered a fentanyl overdose in progress.]]

Yes, a drug overdose was in progress, and that is standard practice to control an out of their mind drug addict who can and very often do have massive incredible strength, even after they pass out, and come back to- You can’t believe how much damage even a skinny 100lb punk can do even when they are handcuffed, if they should wiggle free- I’ve heard stories from cops where skinny women high on pcp tore up a cop car, and a bathroom when they got to the station- while handcuffed-

You just can’t let your guard down when you are dealing with a violent drug addict- especially one who had just physically resisted beign put in the car- and htrown himself out of hte car- and hwo weighed as much as floyd did- he was a huge man

There is about as much ‘justice’ in America now as the Stalin kangaroo courts for his opponents.

We either live in a lawful society, or we don't.

Judging by the idiocy going on in the District of Corruption, we don't.

Welcome to the lawless society that America has become.

The dead guy was a career criminal punk and junkie with a bad ticker who chose to resist arrest.

And carrying a lethal dose of fentanyl. In a sane world this would be dismissed.

Tragic. Every cop should have a go bag, complete with cash and a passport under a new name. They should put some bitcoin aside also.

The other, more common, option? Don’t get out of your patrol car.

Some thug with a rap sheet a mile long is robbing a gas station in the hood? Oh, sorry. Seems we arrived 30 minutes too late….

Floyd had enough Fentanyl in his system to kill an Elephant. Chauvin is guilty of nothing!

Where are the charges for the shooter of Ashli Babbitt? Oh, thats right, she was only white and the shooter was black and was defending the democrats. No wonder the news media has remained silent and has done no digging. I wonder who’s side the media is on?

Since Biden stole the election, they’ll let Chauvin walk or not, and no one will care.

Had Trump taken the office he won, they’d let him walk and then burn the nation down in protest.

Chauvin is no longer useful.

Sure, lets keep my knee on a mans neck while he is handcuffed. SOP, understands that a blood choke is different than a oxygen choke, so lets keep the knee on the dude.

There was no reason to put your weight on the dude while he was incapacitated with restraints. .Gov decided to keep his knee on the suspects neck.

This was the classic example of government, you will die if they are in control.

You don’t know what you’re talking about. There was no choking out, none. There was no vascular choke out...none.

There was a restriction of the flow of blood via the knee. He was handcuffed and a sack of potatoes, but .gov kept their position on him until he died. That is the nature of government.

Maybe you should call the ME and let him know, because that wasn’t in the Floyd autopsy report. He must have forgotten.
On May 29, the country was told that the autopsy of George Floyd “revealed no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxiation,” and that “potential intoxicants” and preexisting cardiovascular disease “likely contributed to his death.”

Hurry, the the examiner know what you saw!

Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office concludes the cause of death was “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression.”

Chauvin shouldn’t have even been charged, and should be exonerated on all counts.

Chauvin behaved badly there - and in a legal sense. Just not in the way that most claim. Certainly once Floyd’s pulse was lost, they should have moved to medical assistance rather than continuing to kneel on him.

And yes, the ridiculous overcharge and attempts to go so far beyond what can be justified is an outrageous abuse of the legal system.

Keep in mind that he was NBA/NFL sized, and hopped up on dope.

They had just spent almost 10 minutes *failing* to get him into the police car.

I can’t see him even entertaining the idea of 3’rd degree when he’s innocent

I can. It’s clear there is a lot of kangaroo-court stuff going on, as well as a national campaign blaming him. The chances of a fair trial might well seem disappearingly remote.
