When Sicknick was lyng in honor, CBS news (radio) described it two ways. In one top of the hour news they said he was "beaten to death". Later in another clip between the hour they said he was "killed after being injured in the melee".

When I heard the second one I assumed they had written "died after being injured" and they said killed as they were reading. But perhaps he was killed.
