Red states are not going to take seizing their bank accounts, blocking the internet, being forced out of business, invaded by illegals, or loss of First and Second Amendment Rights, lightly.
It's natural progression of aggression. Similar occurred during the first civil war. Vicksburg was surrounded and blockaded for an extended period while thousands were starving. The South burned their cotton to keep it from falling into Yankee hands, railroads were destroyed, entire cities burned, etc. Have you heard of Sherman's March to the Sea?
