Why blame Progs and Democrats when you can go back to the early day posts right here on the formerly Free Republic. Look for all the fear porn, rate of spread charts, fatality rates, and etc. Look at the abuse heaped on those of us who said no to lockdowns.
A huge group of Freepers most of which who were safely at home drawing monthly checks from the government decided that we needed to have lockdowns and distancing and masks. They told us trust the experts and doctors and scientists. They posted as many charts as they could find.
They argued the rest of should not be allowed to freely accept the risk of going about our business.
They enabled tyranny. Now many of those same people are crying foul.
Anyone wishing to argue we can go back and repost the replies many of so called Flubros received.
Everything about COVID is, and has been, a LIE from day one. Sadly, much of the population is entirely too stupid, too selfish, and too spineless, to see this.
I suggest putting a 10% tax on all goods imported from China.

When June came and cases and deaths were down, the country should’ve opened back up with people assuming the risk that they chose to take for themselves. Protect the vulnerable; fully inform everyone else and let Americans be free Americans. That did not happen; instead we had the summer of riots. And now we are being ruled by wannabe totalitarians.
