Before WW 2, Burma was a very prosperous country. It had oil and rice that it exported. After the war the idiots took over and now Burma has to import those items.
I know two folks from Myanmar that work at a Sam’s as their Sushi chefs.
I asked them about the trouble their and both were very afraid to discuss it but said they were praying for the safety of relatives still there and that things were very bad.
