Trump’s wuss of a lawyer just agreed with Democrats that the voters removed Trump from office. No acknowledgement that that was in dispute.
No suggestion that there was any effort to rig the election. Did this moron not read the Time magazine article which celebrated the efforts by a “secret cabal” to “fortify” the election through all kinds of illegal and unconstitutional means?
Trump should have fired these third-rate, bush league lawyers and boycotted this entire proceeding.
He has to concede that. Trump’s best legal defense is the impeachment is unconstitutional because he is no longer President.

So Hollywood movie company put that together for them? I turned it off. There was no furniture broken, no paintings destroyed, if it was a mob it was a terribly polite mob.

Well, after their presentation of this, I am convinced that there was a riot at the capital, and that people broke into the building, and people beat up police officers.
Of course, absolutely nobody has said otherwise since we saw it. Maybe they were confused because when the left has riots, they deny it happened, and the media covers it up, so they thought this would be the case for the capital riot.
In fact, every person I know, including President Trump, is on record denouncing the capital riots and calling for the punishment of everybody who assaulted officers or broke government property.
There is a three-pronged defense (which is an offense as well) for Trump:
1. The proceeding is unconstitutional
2. Trump didn’t incite anything
3. Trump was justified in arguing the election was
stolen.
I’ve only heard #1 being argued. That isn’t good enough. It’s weak because these people are conducting a political trial to destroy Donald Trump’s reputation and to smear his supporters as domestic terrorists. That’s the argument. They don’t care a rat’s ass about observing the Constitution. They couldn’t care less about esoteric legal arguments which is what Trump’s lawyers are offering. Trump, if he agreed to this, has thrown in the towel and given up the fight. His defense team is a crashing bore. I’ll bet most of the viewers have turned off the coverage.
Mark Levin should have argued Trump’s defense instead of these people who are scared to mention the unmentionable—that the only conspiracy here was the conspiracy by a secret cabal to destroy the election process and install a puppet who will do their bidding.
