You’re right. This isn’t a real court of law. I’m saying that Trump’s legal team can use that Supreme Court case to bolster their presentation.
They can try. It comes down to 100 senators voting any way they want to. They don’t even have a SC Justice to oversee the trial just a partisan Dem who already voted to convict Trump in the last impeachment trial.
