They could afford big generators for their home base—meanwhile the third world h&^%hole (with intermittent electricity) that they serve will have cars that need _lots_ of towing!

Yep...causing inflation to rise for working Americans. Everything manufactured, delivered by way of oil will rise. American families will enjoy less disposable income because of it.

Add to this the fact because of covid people are driving less. The glut of oil should have increased and yet the oil market hasn't collapsed.

This summer the Dem Biden voters should be thrilled as gas rises to 4 dollars per gallon.
When the very first thing you do upon taking office is to cut American energy (fossil fuels) production, what does everyone expect?
Blaming it on the corona virus "pandemic" is lame.
The Left wants gas prices as high as they can possibly get them to discourage people from driving their internal combustion engine cars. The cost of everything will go up because everything uses oil to be manufactured or operate, including all of the diesel trucks that deliver goods and materials to the retail markets.
They want people to switch to electric cars even though the power for them will rise as well from generating the electricity to charge the batteries through natural gas or coal, the very fossil fuels they want to eliminate.
The only real surprise here is that I didn't see Trump's name mentioned as the reason for the gas prices rising. They're falling off their game by not blaming him somehow.
Bought gas yesterday. Nineteen cents/gal higher than a few weeks ago.

Now up 69 cents a gallon (where I ususally go) since the installation of Chomo Joe. 9 cents just last night.
And when the Chomo Biden policies push gas back up to $4.50 a gallon the democrats will haul in the oil company executives and ask why the prices are so high. And we’ll here about “windfall profits” and “price gouging.”
I was driving though the blackouts of Northern California during that bad fire season. There were ditched electric cars every few miles. Luckily I have a great big diesel tank and managed to get through from San Fransicko to Oregon when there was finally a gas station with power. Cars were stuck all over the place and there must have been a mile long line of cars at the one little gas station that had a generator. It was very windy, and very sunny. So obviously there should have been plenty of solar and windmill electricity, right???
Last march our market dropped to 30 a ton.

Gasoline isn’t alone for price increases. Last week I shopped for a gas water heater. I checked again this morning to purchase the one I selected. It’s price went from $609 to $651 in one week.

Stopping drilling and exploration on Federal Lands to keep the supply line moving could also be a factor, but what do I know, it’s not like I’m Joementia Biden the OPEC Trade Representative.

Oh my goodness, I forgot about all that crap. That is exactly what will happen. It will be evil “big oil” causing the price increase, and people will buy that lie.
The oil that would have come to the USA down the pipeline will now head to the west coast and to China. No doubt why biden cancelled it.

gasoline: $2.647/ gallon
electricity: 11.4 cents per kWh
natural gas: $1.137 per therm
I bought gas yesterday at the cheapest place around and it was $2.78.
