Here’s my email to Toomey:
If an Impeachment trial in the Senate of a civilian is legal, then ANY American citizen can be preemptively prevented from ever holding office via impeachment. Further if urging people to peacefully protest is a crime then surely Sen. Schumer’s THREATS against the Justices of the Supreme Court is a crime. If Democrats - and other actors like you these days- are allowed to challenge the previous Presidential elections then so should anyone. Further if the charge of falsely challenging the election is brought forward, then EVIDENCE for the defense in the case must be allowed.

This reminds me of many years when a local woman was home-invaded and ended up being tortured by a 15-year-old. I was thinking; 'that's scarier than an adult.'
More scary than Toomey stupidity is the idea that he's willing to be an open criminal because he knows that nobody can stop him.

If they can "impeach" office holders after they leave office, why not "impeach" them before they're in office?Or before they even have the illicit thought of such a crime. /s
Reminiscent of Tom Cruise in Minority Report.

He and I clearly read the words and intent of the Constitution differently. Seems very clear to me this process was never intended to be used against private citizens. Certainly not for mere political motives. If you tilt your head just right, stand on one foot, and squint at it under florescent light you can convince yourself the Constitution doesn’t explicitly prevent doing this. But it certainly is not an intended process and it makes the people doing it appear weak and fearful. Not a good look for elected representatives.

The Chief Supreme Court Justice is REQUIRED by the constitution to preside over the trial and Roberts REFUSED to do that because he said Trump is NOT President any longer and can NOT be tried for impeachment. It’s a total sham. The government has fallen, the United States Republic has fallen.

Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA) said Sunday on CNN’s”State of the Union” that former President Donald Trump’s impeachment was “clearly constitutional.”He is correct. The impeachment was constitutional. But Trump has left office so he cannot be removed from office if convicted. I doubt that there are 67 votes to convict. Everyone knows what a precedent this is setting. But whether or not he is not convicted, I do not doubt for a minute that Schumer will try to force a vote to bar Trump from office in the future. They fear him so much that they are willing to pass a bill of attainder.

Impeachment was created as a way to remove an official from office so that he could be tried in a court of law. It has no meaning when the person is already out of office. And they won’t try him in a court of law because he has committed no crime.

Arlen Toomey is my Republican Senator. I am so proud of him because he cares so much about the people who elected him to office. That was back in the days when there was less election fraud in Pennsylvania. He knows that he can't do anything about election fraud now. In fact, he isn't running for office again. I feel sorry for good old Arlen, he is kind of stuck. He's not a Republican. He's not a Democrat. He is sort of in the middle, where he needs to compromise to just fit in somewhere in the establishment. He really needs a home somewhere.
May I suggest HELL.

What the hell happened to Toomey’s brain? The Constitution says nothing about impeaching a regular citizen. Trump is not in office. There is no basis for impeaching him except in the twisted mind of democrats. This shows where Toomey’s real sympathies lie.
