Another black hip hop artist at halftime. Other than Timberlake last year or before it’s been hip hop every year. The last halftime performance I thought was worthwhile was Tom Petty's 2008 appearance. Even then, I sort of wondered how that white boy from Florida was selected.

I thought Bruno Mars in SB 48 was good. Springsteen and The Who in 2009 and 2010 IIRC was good.
Almost everything since than has been an over produced disaster.

And the year before that, Prince blew everyone away. Foo Fighters and Jimi Hendrix covers, Proud Mary, etc. he put on a show that was better than the game. Amazing guitarist. RIP
