I don’t get how Shultz ended his public life so poorly. What happened?
He was anti-Trump and a climate change nut. Sadly.
Married some rich San Francisco socialite widow. More than likely she helped warp his views and get him assimilated into the establishment hive. They had a photo of Shultz meeting with Secretary Pompeo not too long ago, so he must’ve been cordial to a degree.
Could have fooled me...and Reagan. He sure seemed solid during and after his time with Reagan.
When and why did he go sideways?
Beats me but Google his name and Trump.

I’m puzzled. During and after his time with Reagan, he had a beautiful wife who was the Chief Protocol or some such thing of social events from San Francisco, I think, which is where Shultz’ Company was HQ’d. She was some kind of gorgeous and elegant lady. What happened there?
In 1997, Shultz married Charlotte Mailliard Swig, a prominent San Francisco philanthropist and socialite. They were together until he passed away. She had been married twice before, both previous husbands had passed away.
