The Pirates of yesteryear pale in comparison to the pirates of DC.

This from a paper that romanticizes liars, cheats, thieves, thugs, and tyrants.

These were men (and women) who willingly participated in murder, torture and the brutal enslavement of Africans and Indigenous peoples. What a surprise they gloss over the centuries of Muslim pirates who raided European ports and kidnapped and put into slavery nearly 2 million Whites.

That’s exactly what I was thinking - they finally found something they found morally reprehensible?
Selectively so, at that.

The most prolific pirates today are from Africa.
To: Borges
Not all pirates were alike in that regard. If we have a problem with Pirates, then Vikings and Raiders would be next. By the time we are done, we will have “The Washington Football Team”, “The Tampa Bay Football Team”, “The New York Football Team #1”, “The New York Football Team A” etc.

Did Jamie write a similar column when The Pirates of the Caribbean were all the thing? Will he/she write a similar piece about the Minnesota Vikings?
I suspect the reason for this hit piece is that the game is in Florida and the TB QB is named Tom Brady, friend of Donald Trump.

I agree. I propose they change the name to the Tampa Bay Fuzzy Bunnies and wear the pink accessories all season long, not jut in October. Just think of the cute stuffed animal sales!

It’s getting increasingly difficult to tell the difference between Babylon Bee and Washington post articles.
