The seemingly endless restrictions on freedom are causing people to take to the streets, at least in Switzerland. About 500 protesters gathered in the Swiss city of Zug following the health minister's announcement that current coronavirus restrictions will remain in place until the end of February, perhaps longer if more infectious strains of the virus continue to spread.
Protesters wore white protective suits as they marched against the country's lockdown measures. Switzerland tightened restrictions last month, limiting gatherings to five people, having employees work remotely when possible, closing nonessential stores and mandating face masks in stores that remain open.
According to Reuters, the protesters in Zug chanted dystopian slogans and wore placards that read "Closeness is dangerous" and "Wearing a mask is modern slavery."
One protester said she was there on behalf of future generations.
"I’m a grandmother," the woman said. "I don’t want my grandchildren to grow up in a world where so much is forbidden."
"I want to make a statement, that the citizens are the ones who are in control, and the state should be there to serve its citizens," said a male protester.

Who would have guessed that the Swiss would be less compliant to tyranny than Americans?
Thank you. Here’s another article with some pics
State constitutions need to be amended to put time limits on quarantines.
State constitutions also need to be amended to make state health officials elected by popular vote.
Constitutionally time-limited lockdowns need to automatically trigger special recall elections for governors, mayors and health officials who order quarantines, also state lawmakers.
Finally, constitutions need to require people planning to run for state and local offices to escrow a refundable "recall deposit" before becoming a candidate, the deposit fully paying in advance for their possible recall elections if they are elected, amounts determined by law.
Here's a start.

Thanks.
An assemblyman here in NV plans to intro legislation limiting the gov’s emergency powers to three weeks and then the legislators would need to weigh in. But, the demicommies have a super in the assembly and nearly one in the Senate so........😯😒
The Swiss have a true federalist system (or at least they used to). The cantons have had much more independence and authority than the US states do.
Although it doesn’t always seem so as the swiss are a more monolithic culture than ours is. They tend to think along the same lines. As to us - the phrase stampeding chickens comes to mind.
They have some artsy protests, too.
