In 2009, I authored an article titled The Narcissism and Grandiosity of Celebrities. Continuing this tradition, this past week on my social media platforms, I critiqued the virtue signaling that members of the privileged classes engage in.
Here is what I wrote:
“Let me explain yet again the source for all of the platitudinous virtue signaling. The truly privileged elites know that deep down they are frauds. They suffer from existential guilt. Hence, one of the ways by which they assuage the guilt albatross around their necks is to demonstrate to the world that they are truly compassionate, truly loving, truly caring, truly profound. Hence, they love all “undocumented” immigrants. They love Mother Earth. They love the ozone layer. They love BLM. They love socialism. They love inner cities. They hate the gentrification of neighborhoods. They love mentors of color. They cherish diversity. They love LGBTQ movies. They adore queer architecture. They are better than you. More caring, more cultured, more empathetic. This permits them to sleep better at night. See, I’m not a fraud. I may be a gargantuan parasitic hedge fund bullshitter but I really care. I may be an overpaid BS actor but I fight for solar panels. Those fly over rubes deserve their lot in life. They are racists who bed their siblings. We are science supporters who fight against Mother Earth rapists whilst flying in our private jets. It is a classic ego defensive strategy that permits the ruling class to exist within their fractured selves. Save this thread. Memorize it. I’m offering you a deep psychological explanation of our times.”

These people truly wonder why God hasn’t come down to ask them for pointers on how to be more compassionate and inclusive... After all,in their eyes he’s a moron who needs guidance from truly compassionate people....
Whenever I get someone pontificating about how wonderful they are and how deplorable I am, I always have a ready answer...

I am so enjoying my disconnect from popular culture: I have no idea who Seth Rogan is.
Just today, a client asked me who I think will win the Super Bowl. I said, wait, didn’t that already happen? I had no idea it’s tomorrow, just assumed it came and went.

I try not to watch any movie after 2004. this is when the left in movies and TV shows went really nuts and everything is some “woke” BS being pushed. Funny that’s around the same time FB became a thing to people. Then with Twitter around 2006 pushing this same globalist tyrannical BS under the lie of political correctness. Those two platforms and their agenda have totally taken over all of culture and politics. In just 15 years.

Yes but his response to Rogan was a little off when Seth Rogen responded that he used to be poor and a socialist but the reality is he was never that poor his parents were pretty middle class/ upper middle class also that’s the way he was raised , here’s from Wikipedia:
