They were insurgents against the US/Saudi Arabia backed government and recruit by propaganda of a US-Israeli conspiracy.
No reason at all for Trump to brand them terrorists. /s Consider the context of removing the designation for Houthis in light of the rhetoric and charges leveled against Trump over Jan 6th.
One more fact to consider when asking who was for Americans and who is for themselves.
None of those countries are worth anything. We should not be supporting Saudi Arabia, either. Let them all kill each other. The US should have no part of it. The only way they hurt us is when we let them come here.
