I didnt know if i liked her before but i’ve changed my mind. I do like her lots and hope she does well. But she’s swimming against the current. She’s going to get hit.
Although she spoke well and gave voice to the American voter...the media will continue as it has for these past years. They are addicted to creating their own stories rather than tell the truth as it is. To create hype and drama. To distortion and deception that truth escapes them entirely.
She is absolutely correct.
Since the bullies chose to take away her incentives she is now free to do and VOTE any way she chooses.

With all the haters so focused on Trump for the past 4 plus years, I think it’s great for him to go quiet for a while and let some young guns like Matt Gaetz and MTG pick up the MAGA mantle.
I have yet to hear anyone I know complain about Trump’s economic, foreign, energy, or immigration policies. They just complain about his personality, his tweets, and the usual crap that he didn’t handle COVID well and said there were “fine people on both sides”.
Gaetz and MTG have the same philosophy and plenty of fire. But the fact that they are not Trump makes it harder to personalize attacks against them.
They are like a MAGA mutation. People will focus more on the content of what they’re saying, because they’re not as bombastic as Trump. They are more in the Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann mode. Spicy, but not 5 alarm!

The deep state will threaten to kill her family and she will back off is my prediction. Or she’ll have an “accident.”
Holy Carp. That really was an impressive beat down. If MTG had not said some of those silly, loopy things she had to retract (I wonder if she had / has a FReeper handle!), she could go a long way, quickly.
I kept wondering why the Dems were so eager to take this woman further down when she had seemingly already discredited herself. But, now it is clear to me. MTG is, at least when she wants to be, a very solid, very focused, very well spoken advocate for her constituents, and therefor a considerable threat to the libs.
As it is, she has some baggage the MSM will likely never let go of. So, she has to somehow overcome that. But, by the same token, by focusing on issues that concern real Americans, and firing back by taking the media to task for their motives, destructiveness, and hypocrisy, she can make the media look like the petty, vindictive tools they are.
Additionally, the publicity is not all bad. If MTG was just another freshman GOP Congress-critter lacking high level controversy, who would notice? Now, MTG is “on the map”. If she can somehow make sure every Trump voter sees a full vid of this press conference, I think she can establish a “presence” nearly as impressive as Sarah Palin did when Sarah 1st became well known. Then the trick is to build on it.
Star Trek TNG had an interesting episode, once, in which a character suffered a devastating setback, but was then encouraged to “turn disadvantage into advantage”. Rep. Greene has taken quite a first step.
